ohh, December!

I'm back after 2 long weeks! A lot has gone on within those two weeks but, lets not get into details. December is here & it happens to be the best month of the entire year. Many enjoy it because of the "holidays,"but I LOVE it because its the month of my birthday. My birthday is December 23rd, arguably one of the best days of the year. I have my reasons why I think so and they are not solely birthday centered. Im turning SIXTEEN. I already had a huge sweet16 early in November. But, now its the time to real put icing on the cake(literally)! Sixteen is a huge step in life and I'd like to make my steps gracefully. Wish me luck :-)

Dear Readers,
I have no idea what possessed me to even create a blog! Well, lets start with the basics. M y name is Khalila(kha-lee-lah)! Currently live in Brooklyn, USA and I love it. My family is Trinidadian and I love that even more("trini 2 d bone"). I'm a Junior at Brooklyn College Academy and its cool! Do I consider myself a "fashionista"? Not really, clothes are nice but, shoes(preferably heels) are my passion. So, shoe-ista is preferred!I take everything I do very seriously. That can be good or bad! My school work is very important to me. I do understand the importance of my education---had to fit that in somewhere. But, other than the boring stuff I LOVE to have fun. There's nothing like a "flatbush party" or a day of shopping in the city. I'm kinda hard to describe using few adjectives. So lets just say I'm "ME!"
